AI-Human Balance Drives 30% Retention Surge

In 2025, my biggest tech business win was scaling Legiit into a fully integrated ecosystem that combined AI driven tools with human expertise.

The decision that drove this success was focusing on customer lifetime value rather than short term growth.

By introducing advanced calculators and estimators, such as the SEO Impact Estimator and Customer Lifetime Value Calculator, we empowered users to make data informed decisions.

This shift not only improved efficiency but also deepened trust with our community.

The measurable outcome was a 30 percent increase in client retention and a significant rise in recurring revenue.

The lesson was clear. Technology delivers scale, but sustainable wins come from aligning innovation with human needs.

That balance positioned us for resilience and long term growth.

Cybersecurity Award Won with 80% Threat Drop

The collaboration between Northdoor plc and The Salvation Army UK and Ireland won “Security Solution of the Year” at the 2025 Computing Security Awards.

This success was driven by deploying an integrated cybersecurity system across 700+ locations, 2,500 laptops, and 250 servers.

The solution streamlined third-party risk management and gave real-time, 360° visibility of threats across the supply chain and endpoints.

It cut supplier security assessment times from weeks to hours and reduced email threats by 80%, significantly lowering phishing risks.

By consolidating Arctic Wolf MDR and Panorays into a single 24/7 monitored platform, the partnership balanced advanced technology with cultural adaptation for a diverse workforce.

This project is a replicable model of cost-effective, enterprise-grade cybersecurity for nonprofits.

Trusted AI Conquers Finance Skepticism

Across business functions, AI promises faster insights and automation.

Yet in finance—where decisions touch liquidity, payments, and risk—black-box recommendations, unclear data provenance, and uncertain accountability have slowed adoption.

To close this AI trust gap, Kyriba launched its Trusted AI portfolio this year, anchored by TAI, our agentic AI built on an embedded LLM.

By provisioning AI models within our platform, we ensure complete data residency and isolation: sensitive information never leaves our controlled environment.

TAI delivers a transparent chain of thought behind every recommendation and action, making AI explainable, governed, and safe where it matters most.

Our win this year? Turning AI skepticism into adoption among the world’s leading global enterprises.

Smarter Rules Engine Speeds Notary Wins

In 2025, I was able to establish good footing for DC Mobile Notary because I focused on a smarter AI-driven flow that cut friction for its users with remote tasks.

I got to that point by banking on one and the only online intake route to get rid of individual steps across every nook and cranny of my tech stack.

I could move the process along faster now because an elementary rules engine that sorts out every request to the right individual staff or an automated processing sprang up.

With a perceived reduction in waiting time and a feeling of sure clarity for every single request, client satisfaction definitely developed within their ranks the more.

I stood profitably in this change because I was simultaneously able to lessen some levels of manual effort that used to be directed at everyday tasks.

This is a result of patience, trial, and extreme focus on clarity for each user touchpoint.

If you require any clarification, feel free to contact me. In advance, thank you for sending the quotation my way!

AI Packaging Predicts Flaws in Minutes

My most personal achievement with technology in 2025 was when I managed to implement AI-powered packaging intelligence for Refine Packaging.

We had spent years partnering with brands to help refine their packaging, but 2025 marked a year when we were finally able to develop our own systems for predicting flaws, optimizing material usage, and producing design concepts based on a brand’s look and feel in a matter of minutes.

Of course, our achievement wasn’t with this technology but with recognizing that we had a choice: use this technology to further our interests but merely make us look clever.

Internal AI Cuts Turnaround 40%

My biggest tech business win in 2025 was launching an internal AI workflow system at Mike Bruce Design that cut our project turnaround time by almost 40%.

The real breakthrough wasn’t the AI itself; it was deciding to redesign our entire process around it.

Instead of treating AI as a “tool,” we treated it as a silent team member: drafting first-pass brand strategy outlines, pre-sorting client research, and generating moodboards before designers even touched the brief.

This freed my team to focus on high-value creative decisions, not repetitive tasks.

The result: faster delivery, happier clients, and the ability to take on bigger projects without expanding headcount.

Custom AI Drops Churn 12% Annually

Our largest technical victory in 2025 was the deployment of a proprietary AI model that can predict customer churn with 90+ days advance warning and >87% predictive accuracy.

This decision was made to build our own custom predictive engine as opposed to using commercially available analytics products.

By combining product usage telemetry, engagement metrics, and even unstructured end-user support interactions, we were able to create a complete churn score for every account.

As a result of these efforts, our customer success teams were able to proactively intervene and customize offers and support before challenges arose.

The outcome has been an annual churn reduction of 12% and a measurable increase in upsell opportunities and revenue.

The key point is this: investing in AI solutions that are specific to your business domain is far more likely to provide you with accurate, actionable foresight into the future of your customers than investing in mass-market solutions.

Smart Routing Boosts Job Completion 24%

Our biggest tech win in 2025 was a small AI routing upgrade on Car that nobody outside our team would call exciting.
We realised garages were wasting time on low-value pickups, and it created this silent drag on revenue that felt normal until we finally measured it.

The engineering crew built a prediction tool that sent each collection to the “right” operator based on distance and past payouts.

Within eight weeks, job completion rates jumped 24%, and support calls dropped so much we thought the phone system was broken for a minute.

It wasn’t flashy — it was just smarter logic.

Anyway, that decision proved something important to me: big wins often start with a boring question.

My takeaway: revenue grows fastest when you remove the friction nobody talks about.

Centralized AI Governance Ends Team Silos

We had our largest setback in technology by underestimating the impact of how quickly different teams brought AI into production.

While we moved fast to implement new technologies and systems, we didn’t allow enough time to create specific plans to integrate them, which resulted in inconsistencies in the data, and slowed down many workflows.

The technologies were solid; however, our rollout strategy lacked structure.

As of 2026, we have taken a more structured approach to scalability with architecture, disciplined phases for implementation, and defined responsibilities between engineering and product teams.

Additionally, this year we will continue to invest in automation and monitoring of quality to ensure that problems are identified early and addressed prior to impact on performance.

Our focus this year is to build AI-enabled solutions that are robust, consistent, and capable of supporting sustained growth over time.

Building a single AI orchestration layer that allowed all of our data, automation, and workflow tools to work together was hands down our biggest tech win this year.

We didn’t make any significant changes to the model or feature.

The real breakthrough was centralizing AI governance and setting up rules about how teams should create, test, and run AI-driven processes.

This decision cut down on duplicate effort, sped up deployment times, and offered us more reliable outputs in production.

It also left a cultural advantage; teams stopped working in silos and started working together on AI features that can be used in operations across the organization.
