In Conversation with Adeola Adesoba

A Techronicler interview with Adeola Adesoba

For Adeola Adesoba, technology has always been about more than just hardware; it is about how data connects people and shapes decision-making. As a Cybersecurity and AI Solutions Architect at NVIDIA, she stands at the forefront of one of tech’s biggest challenges: moving AI from experimental sandboxes into secure, trustworthy production. In this feature, she opens up about the technical rigor required to lead in this space, the burden of being the “only” in the room, and why building strong fundamentals is the ultimate career hack.

Techronicler:

Please share with our readers your experience in tech + what you currently do for work (and passion projects)!

Adeola Adesoba:

I am a Cybersecurity and AI Solutions Architect at NVIDIA working at the intersection of Agentic AI, applied data science and large scale infrastructure helping organizations deploy production ready and trustworthy AI systems. My career began with a fascination for how data connects people, and how technology shapes decision making and risk. Outside of work, I’m passionate about building community, supporting underserved minorities in tech and leading social impact initiatives focused on youth development, gender equity and sport-for-development. I’m also a member of Rewriting the Code.

Techronicler:

What problem are you most excited to be working on right now?

Adeola Adesoba:

I am currently focused on solving the challenge of moving AI from experimentation into secure, trustworthy production; especially agentic AI systems that can reason, act, and scale responsibly.

Techronicler:

What skill has been most important to your growth in tech so far?

Adeola Adesoba:

The ability to stay curious: not just to learn how something works but also asking the ‘Why’. In addition to that; being able to translate and communicate clearly across various engineers, product, executive and non-technical stakeholders has been very important to my growth in tech.

Techronicler:

What is some advice you want to give to other young women in the industry Black women entering the tech space? / What advice would you give to your younger self entering tech?

Adeola Adesoba:

Build strong technical fundamentals.

Techronicler:

What do you want people to understand about Black women in tech that often gets missed?

Adeola Adesoba:

People miss that beyond the stereotype such as ‘diversity hire’, we often navigate the weight of being the ‘only’ in the room and have to work twice harder to be respected or valued. I want people to understand that Black women in tech are not just resilient, we are innovative, technical and redesigning the industry with scalable, efficient and thoughtful solutions.

Adeola’s journey reminds us that true innovation requires both deep technical curiosity and the ability to translate complex systems for human stakeholders. Whether she is architecting secure infrastructure or leading social impact initiatives for youth development, she is rewriting the narrative of what leadership looks like in big tech. We are grateful for her insights and her commitment to ensuring the door remains open for those coming up behind her.
